UNITS Moving and Portable Storage of Atlanta was a proud sponsor of Joining Hearts 24, "Splash," held on Saturday, July 24, 2011 at Piedmont Park.
Joining Hearts, a 501C3, is a non-profit organization run completely by its volunteers. These volunteers devote themselves to raising funds that offers housing support to Atlanta residents living with HIV and AIDS as well as the overall awareness and support services related with the illness.
UNITS of Atlanta owner, John Steeves, volunteered for the event as well as personally delivered the portable storage UNIT to Piedmont Park. The UNIT was used by Joining Hearts to transport and store the supplies necessary to host the event.
"Joining Hearts supports two fantastic organizations, which give so much to the people of Atlanta. I'm proud that my company is able to positively impact and make an ongoing difference,"said Steeves. "It's also simply amazing what the volunteers are able to accomplish- not only for the main event each July, but throughout the year."
All profits collected at Joining Hearts events in Atlanta are donated to AID Atlanta and Jerusalem House. UNITS Atlanta will continue to be actively involved with this worthy organization and encourage others to join us in giving back to our communities. UNITS Atlanta Has a NEW 5-Star Customer Review
Read our latest 5-Star Customer Review: "So happy that I found this wonderful company to store my furniture while my wood floors were being refurbished. They came when they told me they would, the unit was totally safe from the elements. I know because there was a major storm the same night that all my belongings were stored. When I had everything moved back, all was in perfect condition, no water or moisture issues. Reliable company."
