I get at least 2 calls a month from my customers with questions on how to properly package their valuable artwork when using our Units portable storage containers.

The answer is pretty simple:

1.         Carefully take the artwork off the wall.

2.         Wrap the picture twice in bubble wrap. Make sure that it is tightly wrapped.

3.         Cut open a cardboard box.

4.         Wrap the cardboard box around the artwork and bubble wrap, fitting it to the exact size of the artwork frame.

5.         Cut more cardboard box if needed to cover the portrait.

6.         Use secure duct tape to firmly fasten the boxes shut around the pictures.

When you put the pictures into the portable storage unit- make sure that they are either taped to one another, or tightly packed together to avoid rattling and shaking. Then fasten them to the side of the container with our unique channel straps (again - to decrease shaking and potential rattling)
