July 2010 Archives

flood.JPGSoutheast Wisconsin is sure getting its share of turbulent weather.  A few weeks ago a tornado set down in Eagle Wisconsin and now parts of metro Milwaukee are flooding from heavy rain.  The photo is of my neighbor's car parked at the curb outside his house.  It is a total lost.  The creek that runs through our neighborhood flash flooded in about 20 minutes.  Luckily, my neighbor's house is up a hill and had no damage.

Others in the metro Milwaukee area have had house flooding.  My phone started to ring at 5:50am Friday morning with customers that had flooded basements.  They are trying to salvage what they can from the water damage and need a portable storage unit fast . . . and without a "same day delivery" charge.

Our portable storage units are the best in the portable storage industry.  I know our UNITS will offer our customers piece of mind that what they can salvage will be safe and dry.   We all hope we have no flooding (I'm watching my basement too), but if you are the unfortunate one that does, call us at 414-476-8648 and we will get you a UNIT as soon as humanly possible.

Jim and Janelle with UNITS Truck.jpgHave you ever wondered what it would be like to work with your spouse?  I did not think this would be possible.  We both like to be the manager, but somehow we are building a successful company right here in Milwaukee Wisconsin.  We divide the work and home responsibilities and have created a pretty darn good team.  Check out the article When Your Co-Worker Is Your Spouse from the Wall Street Journal where we are spotlighted.

When you need portable storage in the metro Milwaukee area, give this wife and husband team a call at 414-476-8648.  You can count on the highest quality portable storage container and the best customer service in Wisconsin.

Eagle.jpgToday Jim, my business partner, went to Eagle Wisconsin to deliver a UNIT to a victim of the recent tornado.  He said parts of the neighborhood were devastated, houses a complete lose.  Other parts of the neighborhood had houses that could be restored.  Our storage unit landed in the driveway of a house where restoration was possible.  We hope the convenience of portable storage will at least easy some of the difficulty of restoring their house.
