PORK-TOBERFEAST 2010 is just around the corner!  Join us for an evening of great food and refreshments with neighbors, friends and local business leaders.  A group of local business leaders purchased the Grand Champion Crossbred Barrow, Grand Champion Crossbred Lamb, Champion Dorset Lamb and Champion Tamworth Barrow.     The proceeds go to the PORK-TOBERFEAST Youth Charities: The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, The Luke Homan Memorial Scholarship Fund, Wisconsin State Fair Park Youth Foundation and the Cardiology/Heart Surgery Fund for the Herma Heart Center at Children's Hospital. 

A cornucopia of Blue Ribbon Meats and other fine foods along with refreshments, live music, networking and silent auction will make an unforgettable evening.  Too bad we cannot pack all this fun inside a storage unit, so please join us at the Tommy G Thompson Youth Center on October 21^st 5:30-9:00pm were we will have a little more room.  Call Janelle at UNITS Milwaukee to make a reservation ($40.00 per person, $10 for kids 5-10).

A few months ago we received a call from Mark Steigerwald of Steigerwald Construction looking for portable storage during the renovation of St. Ann Rest Home in Milwaukee WI.   They needed a secure place to store tools and supplies for the remodeling project.   UNITS Milwaukee had just the answer.  We worked with Sister Andrea and delivered a UNITS portable storage container to the construction site.

There is a great article in the Milwaukee Business Journal about St. Ann's $11 million project.  Read it.  It is nice to see during a difficult economic time that business' are expanding.  Sister Andrea, St. Ann's Administrator, expects the addition to attract more residents to St. Ann Rest Home.

You can find a UNITS' storage container at Hart Park in Wauwatosa for the Tosa Tonight Concert Series.  While some minor restoration is being completed on the Hart Park Pavilion vendors are storing supplies in the donate storage container.  The next and final concert of the season is September 14^th.

The Wisconsin State Fair Champion Pig, along with some champion sheep, was purchased for the upcoming Pork-tober Feast to be held on October 21, 2010.   Several local charities will benefit from the dinner and silent auction.   UNITS Mobile Storage is proud to be one of Pork-tober Feast's corporate sponsors.

The pet food and supplies gathered at the Milwaukee Humane Society tweet-up should help feed and care for many pets waiting for adoption.   UNITS Mobile Storage helped with the Humane Society by donating a portable storage unit to store the pet food and supplies collected during their tweet-up on August 1, 2010.  Thanks to the twitter community for coming out and supporting the Milwaukee Humane Society.
